We've answered some of the most common ones below.
Our training is designed to support all types of schools at all levels of education. The principles we teach are applicable no matter where you are. Whether you're new to AI or already experimenting, we can tailor sessions to your needs.
Whilst we often demonstrate tools like ChatGPT, our training is about the wider picture. We believe that topics such as AI literacy, classroom practice, policy, ethics and future-proof foundational principles are more important and more useful than any specific tool.
We will walk you through the basics of some of the most common AI tools including ChatGPT, Claude AI and Dall-E, but our focus is on contextualising how they can apply to your work. We discuss their strengths and limitations and what good practice looks like when using them. We stress that this is a rapidly evolving field and new updates and tools are being released all the time so we ensure all participants have a strong foundational understanding of AI that allows them to critically assess new technology as it emerges.
We're happy to tailor our delivery for groups of all sizes. Whether you want a session for all teaching staff or focused sessions for smaller teams, we'll adapt the format and content to suit your group size and needs.
Not at all! Our training is jargon-free and built for all confidence levels. Whether you're curious, cautious or confident, there's something useful in every session.
No. We use widely available, free-to-use platforms that anyone can access from a browser. We may discuss the features that come with premium subscriptions to some of these platforms but we do so purely to highlight their capabilities - not to sell memberships.
Absolutely! AI in education will touch every role, not just classroom-based ones. We're happy to run sessions for support and administrative staff with content tailored to their work.
Potentially. We often find that young people are the first to adapt to new technology so they probably know more about AI than most of us! That said, if you feel a training session for your students could be beneficial, please contact us using the details on our contact page and we'll see what we can do.
